The Champions League is back for the first time since the Mohamed Salah saga and Liverpool will be without their main man as they travel to Milan to face the former finalists Inter.
In a remarkable post-match interview after the 3-3 draw at Leeds United, Salah claimed that he had been 'thrown under the bus' by his club.
Since then, Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher has responded emphatically: "I thought it was a disgrace. Some have painted it as an emotional outburst. I don't think it was.
"When Mo Salah stops in the mixed zone - which he has done four times in eight years - it is choreographed with him and his agent to cause maximum damage and strengthen his own position."
