Show us a man that thinks the above headline isn’t the greatest they’ve ever read and we’ll show you a liar…
As far as international breaks go, the one that’s just finished was just about as boring as they come, with none of the British teams particularly covering themselves in glory.
Things were slightly better for Belgium, however, who took maximum points from their World Cup qualifiers against Gibraltar and Bosnia and Herzogovina – bagging ten goals in the process.
The first of those goals came from Christian Benteke, who found the net after just eight seconds in the 6-0 win against Gibraltar.
In recognition of his speedy strike, Burnley’s Crystal Palace’s social media team were keen to show what else Benteke could achieve in just eight seconds when he returned to his club to prepare for this weekend’s match with West Ham. In the must-see video, posted on the club’s Instagram account, the striker demonstrates that his talents stretch far beyond sticking the ball in the back of the net. Having shown that he can hold on to his breath for 8 seconds, Benteke then shows that he’s also quite capable of throwing together a cup of tea in the same time frame.
