Stats: Olivier Giroud has had a truly terrible night

These stats would even make bad reading for Anderson.

Olivier Giroud was sent-off before half-time for Arsenal in their Champions League tie away to Dinamo Zagreb.

The French striker picked up two completely avoidable yellow cards and you’ll struggle to see a more pointless sending-off this season.

However, Giroud’s 40 minutes on the field in Croatia was already one to forget. These are stats even former Manchester United midfielder Anderson would be disappointed with.
