2011: Adebayor goes on loan to the biggest club in the world, Real Madrid (we barely remember this, we must admit).
2015: Adebayor’s looking for a job.

The controversial Togolese striker was released from his Tottenham contract by mutual consent this morning and it prompted the sarcastic hashtag #ThanksAde where Spurs fans could offer up their gratefulness to all that Adebayor achieved at White Hart Lane.
