Long before he pulled on a Spurs shirt, it seems like Eric Dier had an anti-Arsenal bias.
With the North London derby coming on Sunday, a 2012 tweet from the versatile Tottenham defender is earning massive love on social media.
While on Everton’s books a couple of years ago, Dier played in the Toffees’ reserves 2-0 victory over Arsenal reserves and posted this message on his Twitter account after full time.
Good 2-0 win to finish of the season, aresnal players all the same #wingebags
— Eric Dier (@ericdier) May 2, 2012
While his spelling leaves a little bit to be desired, we presume his hatred for all things Arsenal forced him to type this tweet with such vociferous fury that he didn’t have time to proofread.
And he’s now reached hero status among the White Hart Lane faithful.
@ThePremiumRat @ericdier Definitely captain material.
