SportsJOE’s one-word player ratings: Chelsea do enough to Mourinho their way to victory over United

Not a whole lot to say

Darragh Murphy

Chelsea knew that a point would have been enough to keep all potential rivals at arms length.

So Jose Mourinho wouldn’t have have believed his luck when Eden Hazard latched onto a sumptuous backheel from Oscar to open the scoring in the first-half.

Licking his lips, The Special One quickly closed off the game, thrilled with the prospect of all three points and despite the staggering amount of United possession in the second half, it evolved into arguably the most Mourinho performance of the season for Chelsea.
