Sergio Ramos mistakes Lionel Messi’s baby for his own in New Year’s greeting

You wish

SportsJOE

Sure we all wouldn’t mind that talent in the family.

Sergio Ramos didn’t so much disown his own child as he did just seem to wish he had some Messi genes.

The Real Madrid defender committed ultimate treason on the turn of the new year when he mistakenly paid homage to their greatest rival’s greatest warrior and, yes, just to another man’s baby as well. Instead of his own.

The Spaniard was wishing a happy new year to his fans (apparently he has some) on Instagram with a little recap of what 2015 held for him. But he included a picture of Lionel Messi’s new-born baby instead of his own.

Messi, of course, gave birth to his second son, Mateo, this year.

Ramos? He gave birth to an entirely different child.

Hey, it’s an easy mistake to make.

At least he had the decency to eventually edit his post with the correct baby this time.
