Kerr was booked for the incident
Chelsea forward Sam Kerr was cheered by the crowd as she dropped an unsuspecting pitch invader to the ground with a shoulder charge during the Champions League game with Juventus on Wednesday night.
The man entered the field of play during the closing stages of the goalless draw at Kingsmeadow, briefly interrupting the game as he appeared to try and take photos with Chelsea captain, Magda Eriksson.
As he eventually walked towards the sidelines, Kerr dropped her shoulder into him, sending him sprawling.
Though the crowd showed their approval for the Australia captain’s actions, the referee took a dim view. As the man was chased off by stewards, Kerr – ridiculously – was shown a yellow card for her trouble.

“I don’t know why he didn’t wait to the end, he could have got a picture then,” said Chelsea manager Emma Hayes after the game. “In all seriousness, we’ve got to think about player welfare and safety.”
The 0-0 draw was the first time Chelsea had failed to register a single goal in a game this season.
After the elation of their 3-0 win over Arsenal in the FA Cup final at the weekend, a game in which Kerr scored twice, it was a frustrating evening for Chelsea. A win would have sealed their progress to the next round, but they must now try and finish the job in their final group game away to Wolfsburg.
