Even Keane himself couldn’t keep a straight face.
Roy Keane had little sympathy for Andy Robertson after the Liverpool full-back appeared to be elbowed in the face by an official at halftime of his side’s 2-2 thriller with Arsenal on Sunday.
As the game was paused for half time Liverpool players went to protest a number of decisions that had gone against him before Jamie Carragher picked up on the incident involving Robertson.
Footage captured by the Sky Sports cameras appeared to show linesman Constantine Hatzidakis raising an arm to the face of the Scotland international, prompting the player to shout: “He’d just elbowed me in the throat.”
Pitchside reporter Geoff Shreeves also confirmed that the full back was left seething in the Anfield tunnel and made his feelings known to the officials, along with captain Jordan Henderson, who also spoke to the officials in support of his teammate.
But Roy Keane however wasn’t impressed by Robertson’s behaviour and called out the full back for aggravating Hatzidakis first.
“No [I haven’t seen that before], not really. But Andy Robertson, do you know what, does he grab the linesman first? I’m not sure, but he’s complaining. He should be more worried about his defending,” Keane exclaimed after first seeing the incident.
“Do you know what it is, that Robertson? I’ve watched him a number of times. He’s a big baby. That’s what he is. Just get on with the game and concentrate on your defending. He does grab the linesman first.”
And his mind hadn’t changed after the full time whistle as he once again labelled Robertson a “big baby,” leaving the rest of the Sky Sports studio in hysterics.

The PGMOL have since confirmed that they will investigate the incident.
Liverpool fought back from two goals down to draw 2-2 after first half strikes from Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus put the Gunners in control.
