Never mind the fact that Luis Suarez was facing Liverpool for the first time since leaving the club.
Forget that arguably the greatest player to have ever played the game was also lining up in the Barcelona team, too.
One of the main talking points of Liverpool’s meeting with Barcelona at Wembley on Saturday afternoon was Roberto Firmino’s latest hairdo.
Let us be clear, although we wouldn’t expect the likes of Steven Gerrard or Jamie Carragher to have turned out for Liverpool looking like this, what he chooses to do with his hair is entirely his decision and doesn’t bother us one bit.
But as the Brazilian played his part in ripping the Barcelona defence to bits, many of those watching couldn’t help but share their opinion on his unusual new barnet.

Firmino's hair.
Extra laps during the cool down.

Strangely, nobody seemed to bat an eyelid at what Jordan Henderson had done with his hair.

Hair aside, Firmino still managed to play his part in a decent showing for Liverpool. With a quarter of an hour played at Wembley, he linked up well with Adam Lallana to help tee up Sadio Mane’s opening goal.
Liverpool begin their Premier League campaign next weekend when they travel to the Emirates to face Arsenal.
