Is this a thing now?
The Chevrolet Player Arrival – yes, you read that correctly – for the LA Galaxy this week was Robbie Keane.
The Ireland captain returned for his MLS club, last night, and set up the stoppage-time winner against Houston Dynamos.
Before a ball was kicked in anger, Keane, who started the league match from the bench, kept the sponsors happy with this glitzy, slow-mo, ever so O.T.T arrival at the Home Depot Center.

Keane had his wife, Claudine, for company as he cruised in for his comeback.

He was given a rapturous welcome by the home fans and employed some interesting warm-up techniques on the comfy bench.

Once he was on, with 20 minutes to play, he worked his creative magic to tee up Alan Gordon for the winner.
He’s back, just in time for Ireland’s crucial Euro 2016 Qualifiers.
