Incredible players… and Dida.
Remember Rivaldo? The Brazilian two-time World Player of the Year, former Barcelona forward and World Cup winner? Who also done this:Well he’s retired now, but the Brazil legend has picked his dream team XI ahead of the Champions League final later, and it features some of the best players of the past twenty years. There’s no room for Cristiano Ronaldo, but we can’t argue against the inclusion of any of these players.
Except Dida.
Rivaldo opts for a back four featuring former Brazil full-backs Cafu and Roberto Carlos, with Carles Puyol and Paolo Maldini in centre-half. Xavi and Zinedine Zidane are in centre midfield, Figo on one wing and another Brazilian, Ronaldinho, on the the left flank.
Lionel Messi and Ronaldo, the former Brazil striker and Rivaldo’s former international team-mate, start up front.
We can’t really understand Dida in goal, but he wouldn’t have to face many shots, which is probably just as well.
