One of Ireland’s most experienced players has been all but ruled out of the upcoming Euro 2016 play-off with Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Shay Given limped out of the Republic’s famous 1-0 victory over Germany with a knee injury and Stoke manager Mark Hughes revealed on Saturday that the veteran stopper is unlikely to be fit for the pair of games which take place on Friday, November 13, and Monday, November 16.
Mark Hughes says Shay Given is unlikely to make the Republic of Ireland's play-off against Bosnia as he awaits knee surgery.

West Ham’s Darren Randolph deputised for Given in Ireland’s 2-1 defeat to Poland which forced the play-offs and he’s expected to start for Martin O’Neill in Bosnia.
Balls, anyway!
