Real Madrid president aims to pull off the most improbable transfer in recent history

Surely not

Florentino Perez is not used to being told that he can’t have what he wants.

Typically, the Real Madrid president never fails to get his man but we somehow can’t see him being able to pull this transfer off.

According to reports in Spain, Perez wants to shock the football world by bringing Barcelona superstar Neymar to the Bernabeu.

Spanish outlet Sport report that Perez has been in constant contact with the Brazilian’s father as he attempts to set up a Figo-esque coup.

Perez reportedly has an obsession with Neymar and “breaks out in rashes each time the Brazilian celebrates a goal in a Barcelona shirt.”

Neymar has cemented his reputation as one of the best players in world football as he came into his own this season when teammate Lionel Messi was ruled out for some time with an injury.

And ESPN Deportes’ Jeinny Lizarazo claims that Perez is willing to splash out on the hefty release clause that Neymar has at the Camp Nou but that the transfer is unlikely to ever come to fruition as all of Perez’s approaches thus far have been rebuffed by the player and his father.

While we’d love to see a front three of Neymar, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale, it would be a crying shame to see MSN broken up so soon.
