Raheem Sterling has been offered to a London rival in a potential shock move.
The England winger has been ostracised at Chelsea and has been actively looking to move clubs.
Now Sky Sports report that the attacker has been offered to Arsenal, saying that it is likely the player will either stay at Chelsea or move across London to The Gunners today.
The player has been left out of the squad for both Chelsea matches this season and manager Enzo Maresca has made it clear Sterling is not part of his plans.
Nizaar Kinsella from BBC Sport said: "Arsenal have been offered winger Raheem Sterling, but he can't leave until issues around a pay-out for losing some of his projected earnings while on over £300,000-a-week will be key.
If all bonuses are met, his side believe they are owed £70m, which would have to be made up or a loss negotiated him, the buying club and Chelsea."
Sterling’s contract runs until 2027 and is paid £17m per season, or £350k per week.
If Sterling does sing for Arsenal, he will add the North London team to a list of huge Premier League teams he will have played for with Liverpool and Manchester City being his former employers.
