Watch: Radamel Falcao is as good at diving as he is at scoring goals

Awful dive

Robert Redmond

You’re better than this, Falcao.

The Colombia striker has professionally had a tough few years. After suffering a career threatening ACL injury in January 2014, Falcao missed last summer’s World Cup, and has been completely out of form ever since.

A nightmare spell on-loan at Manchester United saw a return of just four goals, and he has yet to find the net at the Copa America, where he’s Colombia captain, and started every game, despite being devoid of any form.

He’s also responsible for this abomination.

falcaoDuring Colombia’s goalless draw with Peru on Sunday, Falcao proved that his ability to pull-off a convincing dive, as well as his goalscoring touch, has deserted him.

Peruvian defender Carlos Zambrano barely touches the player, but Falcao flings himself to the ground as though he’s received a haymaker.

Can Jose Mourinho return the player to form at Chelsea next year? Get him back amongst the goals and teach him how to convincingly con the referee?

It looks like you’ve a tough job on your hands, Jose.
