Now that Steven Gerrard’s home farewell is over, it’s time to get started on Xavi-mania.
The Barcelona legend’s final game at Camp Nou will likely be the Copa del Rey final on 30 May with talk of the legendary Barca midfielder moving to Qatar at the end of this season.
And adidas have produced a pair of some top quality commemorative boots for Xavi, or Xavier Hernández i Creus as we like to call him, to honour the Spaniard’s final few weeks in Spanish football.
Barcelona won the league today and could win the treble over the next three games which includes one final La Liga match next week, the Copa del Rey final before the highly anticipated Champions League final on 6 June and Xavi is expected to wear the cracking Predator Instinct boots in all four.
The red and yellow footwear comes complete with the number 6 on the sole, honouring the shirt number that Xavi has worn for Barcelona for so many years.
