The majority of arguments at SportsJOE involve whether a jersey is nice or not.
Blood has almost been spilled on the debate of best collar type but we’re pretty much united as fans of every one of these imagined football shirts based on classic rock albums.
The creative characters over at La Casaca (@LaCasacaBlog) have gone all out by thinking up designs for jerseys for The Beatles’ Yellow Submarine, The Rolling Stones’ Sticky Fingers and The Clash’s London Calling, to name a few.
The aesthetic was constructed from the tone of each album and the track listing of each record is stitched inside the collar of the shirt.
While we’ll concede that Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories doesn’t exactly constitute classic rock but that’s an anomaly among the bunch.
Take a gander at these beauties and if anybody feels so inclined as to actually produce one and send it to us, we suppose that we’d take it off your hands.
