Across the pond, football (soccer) fans are gearing up for the start of the new Major League Soccer campaign.
With the big kick off less than a month away, MLS teams are busily launching the kits they will be wearing throughout the season.
Having already seen Steven Gerrard modelling the new LA Galaxy strip and Andrea Pirlo looking thoroughly p*ssed off in New York City FC’s latest away strip, the new Columbus Crew kit has generated quite a reaction.

How, exactly, do you start to explain a kit like this?
In fairness, an official press release from the club does at least try to, explaining that the kit was inspired by the Columbus City flag.
