The long road to recovery is well underway for Luke Shaw.
The Manchester United left back is finally able to discard the crutches after the horror leg break he suffered in a challenge from Hector Moreno when the Red Devils lost 2-1 to PSV in September.
Six weeks later and the England international is finally able to put weight on the leg that was fractured horribly in the tackle.
Shaw posted this picture of himself on a night out with teammates with the caption: “Nice to be walking without crutches last night.”

There is still a long way to go for Shaw but manager Louis van Gaal provided a positive health update on his full back.
“Luke is progressing well and is doing as well as we could have hoped at this stage,” Van Gaal explained.
“We are not putting any timings on his recovery or a return, as it is important we allow nature to take its course.”
