What better way to celebrate scoring against your Revierderby rivals by revealing your superhero identities?
Dortmund’s Dynamic Duo of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Marco Reus rubbed salt in the wounds of Schalke by donning Batman & Robin masks this afternoon.
What’s most interesting is that they had to play 77 minutes of football with said masks stuffed in their underwear.
But the (un)caped crusaders were able to break out the fancy dress after Aubameyang finally broke the deadlock this afternoon.
After becoming a hero to the roaring Westfalenstadion faithful, he proved his superhero status by pulling on the legendary mask of the Dark Knight which was followed by Reus embracing the role of sidekick.

The celebration seemed to lift the mood of all at Dortmund as Jurgen Klopp’s side went on to record a 3-0 victory, with Reus Robin scoring the final goal.
The victory lifts Dortmund to 9th in the Bundesliga.
