But at least he has still has the hottest footballer award to console him right?
Whoever was doing the match ratings for French newspaper L’Equipe last night at the Emirates is clearly not a fan of Olivier Giroud.
The striker, who missed at least two decent chances during the game, was deemed to be the very worst of what was admittedly a very bad bunch during the 3-1 home loss to Monaco
The newspaper reported the international had a nightmare and that failing to have any shot on target before being subbed around the hour mark was a major reason for the sides devastating loss.
Olivier Giroud gets pretty rare 2/10 from L'Equipe, which says he had a "nightmare" and bore a "heavy responsibility" for the defeat.

Giroud shouldn’t feel too bad though as the best Arsenal player to get a rating was Santi Cazorla at 5/10 while even Monaco were hardly full of star performances, with just two 8/10’s for their winning side.
We wonder what you would have to do to get a 1/10?
