What do you do when you’re permanently scarred? You double down and get a tattoo to highlight it, of course.
An Accrington bouncer will forever remember the night that he encountered a drunken pub-goer who mistook his calf for a kebab and sunk his beer-soaked teeth right in.
The bruise on the bitten doorman won’t fade anytime soon and he decided to mark the marking by tattooing the phrase “Suarez was here” around the almost visible toothmarks.
It was Nathan Walker, not the nibble-happy Uruguayan, who caused the damage when he was thrown out of the pub at which the bouncer was working in late 2013.
Of his tattoo, the bouncer said: “I’m actually scarred and it looks like a permanent bruise. I had the Suarez tattoo put on, even though I’m not a Liverpool fan, as shortly after that he was done for biting.
“I wanted to try and draw attention away from the actual bite mark so I had something put round it so people will mainly focus on the tattoo.”
