The young Irish midfielder has certainly made an impression at the League One side.
Forrester has two goals in 23 appearances with Peterborough United since his recent transfer from the Airtricity League.
The 23-year-old, who made his name by scoring sensational goals with St Patrick’s Athletic, has settled quickly at the promotion-chasing Leaue One side. So much so that he has already been linked with moves to Championship sides in the January window.
The increased interest in Forrester has led to United chairman Darragh MacAnthony declaring the Irishman as “priceless”. St Pat’s parted ways with Forrester for an ‘undisclosed fee’ thought to be six figures.
MacAnthony took to Twitter to respond to queries about the talented midfielder. The big take-aways were his valuation of Forrester as ‘way, way over’ £3m and MacAnthony’s opinion that his player is better than current Ireland international Jeff Hendrick.
Way way over. Best Mid passer/player I've ever signed & priceless. https://t.co/EIeyzv5v2c

Hendrick is also aged 23 but has already amassed 17 senior caps for Ireland.
Better imo but Hendrick quality also but Chrissy will be better https://t.co/SCpWkvTGuG

MacAnthony also fielded a tweet that compared Forrester to 2015 Airtricity Player of the Year, and new Brighton signing, Richie Towell.
Totally disagree & in time we shall see. https://t.co/n950FKQV0K
