How would you have described today’s weather?
Absolutely glorious?
Beautiful?
Sun splitting the rocks?
Ok, maybe that’s a bit too much but to be fair, it was pretty damn nice.
Not a cloud in the sky and the sun shining all day.
Can’t beat it.
It helped add to what was already going to be a terrific atmosphere at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium for tonight’s World Cup qualifier between Ireland and Wales.
You would expect with these balmy conditions that most players would not find the need for thermal comfort.
However, this did not apply to Wales’ Gareth Bale.
The Real Madrid man was noticeably sporting some gloves as he took to the field for the warm-up and they remained on throughout the game.
The reaction, let’s say, was inevitable.
Hearing we've already got the three points because Gareth Bale is wearing gloves with a short sleeved jersey

12 degrees in Dublin and #Bale is wearing gloves. The boy has gone a little soft with the sunny Spanish climate #COYBIG #IrevWal

Bale wearing gloves on the best day of the year we've had so far. Wouldn't last ten minutes in the MDL
