The Kerryman wasn’t impressed.
In fairness to Romelu Lukaku, 7 League goals in his first 8 games was a smashing start to his Manchester United career, but when you don’t touch the ball in 17 minutes of football, in one of your side’s biggest games of the season so far, the criticism was always going to come.
It just goes to show the fickle nature of the modern world that some of us are giving out about the League’s top scorer, but that’s the business, isn’t it?
The big Belgian had a fairly ineffective first half in Anfield, and many were jumping on his back, none-more so than Paul Galvin.
Galvin was always famed for his work-rate during his Kingdom career, and he clearly feels that that’s something Mourinho’s front man doesn’t show enough of, earning him the label of a “cosy-hole.”
Lukaku a 6 foot 4 inch cosy-hole has yet to contest a long ball, make a tackle or challenge a defender. 23 minutes in.

He wasn’t the only one giving out about Manchester United’s number 9.

In Lukaku’s defence, Manchester United have set themselves up exactly like Mourinho always does in a big game, with Lukaku leading the line with little or no support.
It’s not the easiest job he has up there lads.
Galvin was having none of that, though, and even went one step further in his criticism.
Zero prisoners taken.
Lukaku a disgrace so far . Lazy , shitty , display . https://t.co/RtjgPsj6Zq
