Northern Ireland fans might be a little less excited to see their team at Euro 2016 after this.
The Irish FA released their first tournament kit in 30 years on Monday by posting an image of the new gear on Twitter, asking fans for their opinions.

But instead of the fanfare they were expecting, they have received a string of negative replies.
Fans aren’t happy with the design, which features a strange blue line across the chest – making it look more like a training top than an actual kit.
@OfficialIrishFA I'm praying to God, Allah and David Healy that this is a wind-up. An absolute monstrosity #gawa

@OfficialIrishFA Is this seriously the shirt we're going to showcase NI with at the Euros? Horrendous.

@OfficialIrishFA please change this. This top will go down as one of them brutally stinking tops that should never have been AND you know it

@OfficialIrishFA & @adidasUK have done what no politician could & unite the whole of N.Ireland in their dislike of the new home kit

@OfficialIrishFA this is the worst ever kit I have seen. You expect us to pay £55 for this? #listentothemasses

However we at SportsJOE believe is has been inspired by some of the Ireland cricket team’s recent efforts. Considering their giant-killing endeavours at recent major tournaments the omens could be worse.
As long as they forego the trousers it should be alright.
