This is Manchester United.
Gary Neville has admitted that he’s falling out love with Manchester United and finds them difficult to watch.
United fell to a 1-0 defeat to Newcastle United on Saturday night in yet another toothless display.
It followed days after their hopes of qualifying for the knockout stages of the Champions League were dealt a huge blow by drawing with Galatasaray.
Speaking on the Gary Neville podcast on Sunday, the former United defender revealed he had become apathetic about his boyhood club.
He said: “I’ve become tired of my own club. I don’t want to work their games anymore, and that is the saddest indictment you can have of your football club, when you become bored of watching them.
“It’s not just me. A couple of people have told me in the last few weeks that enough’s enough.
“The daft thing is, on Wednesday night [vs Chelsea] I will build my whole Wednesday night around watching Manchester United.”
“That’s life, we go and watch them again, don’t we? But that is how I feel: I feel tired of watching them. That is a sad position to be in.”

United face Liverpool in two weeks’ time – a side they lost 7-0 to in their last meeting.
Their fortunes don’t look like improving either, with Erik ten Hag losing all nine of his most recent games against the rest of the top half of the table.e
“I love the club, but I’m already fearing what’s going to happen at Anfield in two weeks,” Neville continued.
