It’s been a tough few days for Liverpool supporters.
First they had to put up with the worst possible end to the season with a 6-1 drubbing at the hands of Stoke.
Then they find out that the early business being done by the club included retaining the services of Kolo Toure who didn’t cover himself in glory during his two years at Anfield.
But the biggest fright for Reds fans will have come today with the news that Mario Balotelli’s agent Mino Raiola has claimed that the Italian striker will not be leaving Liverpool this summer.

Most Liverpool supporters are of the odd opinion that the departure of Balotelli would be like a new signing in itself because he essentially provided nothing for Brendan Rodgers in the past season and is something of a distraction for the squad.
The 24-year-old managed just four goals in his 26 appearances in all competitions since he signed for €22 million last August.
The story will also come as bad news for Premier League linesmen who will face another season of arm exhaustion due to Balotelli’s countless offsides.
