Leonardo Bonucci looks happy with Moise Kean

Last week, Moise Kean was racially abused by the home fans when Juventus went away to Cagliari.

After the game his teammate Leonardo Bonucci said Kean was “50-50” to blame for the behaviour of the Curva because of how he celebrated his goal.

Kean had stood in front of the supporters, motionless, with his arms outstretched. Staring into the stands.

This week, Moise Kean scored the winner for Juve again but this time, it was much closer. It was 1-1 against Milan, thanks to a defensive error by Bonucci.

Kean came off the bench, played for 18 minutes, and scored Juve’s winner. The Italian striker is now scoring every 51 minutes in 2019. Late drama.

Kean pointed to the Italian flag on his chest. He’s just broken into the national team but one is inclined to think his motive transcends that.

Judging by Bonucci’s participation in the celebration, he was pretty grateful for the goal.

The defender and occasional Juve captain charged into Kean, embracing him and screaming.

Maybe he was thankful for the sublime play by the 19-year-old remedying his mistake. Maybe he was trying to prevent a celebration like we saw against Cagliari.
