Mohamed Salah will pay tribute to the 74 people who lost their lives in the 2012 Port Said stadium riot by wearing the number 74 jersey at Fiorentina.
The Chelsea winger signed a loan deal with the Serie A side until the end of the season in a deadline day move which saw Juan Cuadrado make the switch to Stamford Bridge.
74 people were killed when crowd trouble erupted after an Egyptian Premier League game between El Masry and El Ahly at the Port Said Stadium. After a 3-1 victory, fans of El Masry invaded the pitch and attacked the El Ahly players and fans with fireworks and stones.
And the disaster obviously deeply affected Egypt international Salah who will carry their number on his back for the rest of the season.
