Mino Raiola: Everyone at United knows that Paul Pogba wants to move on

Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has said that everyone at Manchester United is aware that the midfielder wants to move on from the club this summer.

Pogba said that Real Madrid would be a dream club to play for while on international duty with France in March before telling reporters in Tokyo last month that he’s ready for a new challenge in his career.

Pogba rejoined United for £89 million in 2016 but now looks ready to move on with Raiola releasing a statement on Saturday indicating his client is ready to leave Old Trafford.

“Everyone knows the willingness of Paul to move on. We are in the process of that. Everyone knows what the feelings of Paul are,” Raiola has now told The Times.

“Everyone within the club, from the manager to the owner, knows Paul’s wishes.”

Manchester United players reported back to Carrington for pre-season training earlier this week with Pogba a notable absentee.

The 26-year-old played 47 games for United last season, coming off the back of a World Cup winning campaign with France, and United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer granted him an extra week of holidays to compensate for his long season.

It was expected that Pogba would join his teammates on the plane to Perth this Sunday as United set off on their pre-season tour of Australia, however, Raiola said that there was no guarantee that he would be on the flight, claiming he lives ‘day by day’.
