French news outlet RMC are reporting that some fans have successfully broken in but it is not known whether players and coaching staff are present at the training ground ahead of their Ligue 1 match against Rennes this evening.
Marseille are currently sixth in Ligue 1, having lost their last three matches and look unlikely to qualify for the Champions League.
The club’s finances are in disarray as well, with star player Florian Thauvin set to leave on a free at the end of the season.
This story is still developing and more details will follow.
