But that heavy defeat isn't the only penance that United could face as they are set to be punished by the Premier League.
Any club that delays the kick-off of a game by 15 minutes or less will be fined £5,000 but any club who exceeds that delay could see the case dealt with by a formal disciplinary hearing.
