Manchester United supporters should probably avoid the Spanish newspapers today

That one, that one and... that one

Hands off!

Barcelona will be splashing the cash again, next January, and Spanish newspaper Sport reckon they are going on a Manchester splurge.

The La Liga giants are seeking to freshen up their squad as part of a revamp of an ageing squad. Luis Enrique looks set to deliver a league title to his paymasters this month and will be rewarded with a transfer kitty.

Sport believe Barca will raid Manchester and jet back to Spain with four players squeezed into business class.

Manchester raid

They report that Ander Herrera [United] and David Silva [City] are the Barca “dream” while there is a separate, outlandish claim that Wayne Rooney and Juan Mata have been “offered” to the Catalans.

The Barcelona transfer ban expires on January 2016.

Louis van Gaal had better hope his players can get over the Champions League qualification line soon. If not, his recently in-form players may yet be tempted to jump ship.
