Manchester United have reportedly made a bid for a Norwegian wonderkid.
No, not that Norwegian wonderkid, but Rafik Zekhnini, a 17 year old winger who plays for Odds BK.
He also put in a starring performance in a Europa League tie against Borussia Dortmund last week.
Zekhnini played so well that Dortmund defender, and World Cup winner, Matts Hummels literally couldn’t believe the player was still a teenager.
And now, according to reports in Norway, United have tabled a €3 million bid for the player.
The player admitted this week that his dream is to play for the Premier League club, and, according to his current manager, possesses greater potential than 16 year old Real Madrid wonderkid Martin Ødegaard.
“Ødegaard of course has amazing skills and a better passing game,” Dag-Eilev Fagermo said. “But the pressure and speed of Rafik Zekhnini is extreme.”
