Clichy joined the club from Arsenal in 2011 and has gone on to win five trophies while Navas moved in 2013 after 10 years with Sevilla and was part of the squad that won the 2013-14 Premier League.
Clichy spoke to Manchester City’s website announcing his departure from the club.
“It’s been a special six years for me at City.
“To win four major trophies and help establish the Club as one of the top teams in English football has been an incredible journey that I’m proud to have been a part of.
“It’s amazing to see where the Club is today and I am sure there is plenty more success to come.”
And Manchester City’s director of football Txiki Begiristain praised Jesus Navas upon announcing that he would be leaving the club.
“Working with Jesus has been a pleasure.
“His hard work, dedication, professionalism and desire to win have been apparent every single day.
“He showed his versatility numerous times this season, operating at full-back and doing so with distinction.”
“I wish him all the very best with his next move.”
