Manchester City have agreed to sign Wilfried Bony from Swansea City for £28million.
The striker will complete the deal within the next 48 hours, but won’t meet up with his new team-mates until he returns from international duty next month. Bony is currently preparing for the African Cup of Nations tournament with the Ivory Coast.
Bony cost Swansea £12million when he signed from Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem in July 2013 and was the top goalscorer in the Premier League in the calendar year of 2014, scoring 20 goals.
