Man United have been handed a huge boost with the news that a star has agreed a new long-term contract, as per reports.
There were positive signs from Ruben Amorim's men in a spirited 2-2 draw against rivals Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.
Unlucky not to win the match at the death, Harry Maguire blazed over inside the penalty box.
That came only shortly after fan favourite Amad Diallo bagged another crucial goal, equalising with ten minutes to play.
And now according to ESPN, the club have agreed terms of a new contract for the popular 22-year-old to secure his future at Old Trafford.
A club announcement is described as 'imminent' and could come as early as Thursday.
Scoring six goals in 28 appearances, Amad has developed a habit of scoring crucial goals for the club.
His current contract was due to expire at the end of the season, however United held an option to extend that deal by 12 months.
Instead, they have opted for a longer term deal for the player.
