Finally, back-up for Ighalo.
Manchester United have confirmed the signing of Edinson Cavani and three more prospects on a hectic transfer deadline day at Old Trafford.
With only Donny van de Beek arriving at United in the summer before Monday, Cavani was the club’s third piece of transfer business on the last day of the window, having closed a deal for Porto’s Alex Telles and agreed a January move for Atalanta’s Amad Diallo.

The Uruguayan joins United after leaving Paris Saint-Germain following the expiration of his contract in June.
But he wasn’t the only Uruguay native to arrive late on, with the club completing their business with the signing of promising winger Facundo Pellistri.
The 18-year-old comes on board for a reported fee of €10m and gives United’s options a new look now.

“I have played in front of some of the most passionate supporters in football during my career and I know that it will be the same in Manchester. I cannot wait to experience the Old Trafford atmosphere, when it is safe for the fans to return.
“I look forward to continuing to write my little story inside the book of football and I know that’s why my focus has to remain the same as always – work, work, work. I have had a conversation with the manager and this has increased my desire to wear this beautiful shirt.”
Any centre backs? Nah. Solskjaer already spent £80m on one of those.
