Liverpool have never been the same since Luis Suarez departed for greener pastures.
The mercurial forward was at the vanguard of Liverpool’s title push under Brendan Rodgers in 2013/14 season.
He scored an incredible 31 goals in 33 games the season Rodgers’ side finished second in the Premier League and his £75m exit from Anfield left a huge void that has never been filled.
Most Reds fans would have the Barca man back in a heartbeat.
But it also seems the 29-year-old, who is on fire at the Nou Camp with 29 goals this term, would love to return to play in front of the Kop.
Suarez has now left the door open to a return to Liverpool – saying he misses the club and the fans.
“You never know what will happen in the future,” Suarez told ESPN.
“If I was to return to England, it would be to play for Liverpool – not for any other team.
“I’ve missed the fans. The atmosphere is incredible, it’s incredible.
“Everyone who has played for Liverpool knows how important the fans are – they know they will always be in my heart.”
