No room for young Philippe.
A 4-2-3-1 formation for Liverpool’s Brazilian midfielder.
Sky Sports’ Fantasy Football Club sat down with Lucas Leiva this week and, handily enough, brought along a whiteboard so he could select his dream team.
The criteria is simple – pick an XI of guys you have played with during your career.
Leiva has selected six Brazilians and five Liverpool teammates, with only one of them, Steven Gerrard, still at the club.
He has omitted himself from the team and selected former Arsenal midfielder to sit in front of the back four. Xabi Alonso will pick passes and unlock defences while Neymar and Ronaldinho will do damage up the flanks and from cutting inside.
Luis Suarez leads the line and Leiva, perhaps harking back to Gerrard’s glory years, has selected the Liverpool captain as his No.10.
