Louis van Gaal’s a fan of Jurgen Klopp.
The pair will pits their wits against one another for the fifth time this Sunday when Liverpool take on Manchester United at Anfield.
Van Gaal faced Klopp’s Borussia Dortmund when he was Bayern Munich head coach between 2009 and 2001, with both men winning two games each.
Ahead of Sunday’s game, Van Gaal praised his Liverpool counterpart, and seemingly admitted English football fans prefer Klopp’s high energy style, over his own more refined approach.“You can see his hand and I think that is important to see somebody’s hand when he is the manager,” Van Gaal said.
“You can see a very aggressive and pressing kind of playing the game.”
“Of course, he has to learn the rhythm of the Premier League and I think he knows already the difference between the German league and the Premier League.”
“He is very capable to be a manager in the Premier League because he has shown always this kind of football and I think the fans shall love it.”
