So long Lucas, hello Henrikh.
Liverpool’s summer spending slurge is not over yet.
The Independent is reporting that the Reds £15m (€20.8m) bid for Henrikh Mkhitaryan has been accepted by Borussia Dortmund.
The Armenian midfielder joined the Bundesliga side from Shaktar Donetsk in 2013. In the past two seasons, he scored 24 goals and provided 20 assists in 94 appearances.
The paper claim Juventus were also in for the 26-year-old’s signature but add that he was not one of the Bianconeri’s first-choice targets.
If Liverpool confirm the news, it would take their summer spending to €131m. They have already signed seven players – Christian Benteke, Adam Bogdan, Nathaniel Clyne, Roberto Firmino, Joe Gomez, Danny Ings and James Milner [free transfer].
The Armenian scored the winner for Dortmund in their staggering 4-3 comeback against BK Odd, in the Europa Cup last night.

If he does move on, it is not a bad leaving present.
