In the last 18 months, Jack Dunn has been shipped around to three clubs in the hope that he will glean the experience necessary to compete for a place at Liverpool.
The 21-year-old spent three months at Cheltenham Town before he enjoyed just a few weeks with Burton Albion.
Just last week Dunn signed a six-month loan deal with Morecambe and he’s wasted no time in proving that he’s a valuable asset for any manager.
Less than a fortnight after putting pen to paper, Dunn started on the bench for the Shrimps for an EFL Cup clash with Rotherham, following on from his league debut on Saturday against Grimsby Town.

Dunn didn’t get on the scoresheet at the weekend but he more than made up for that on Tuesday night when he came off the bench after an hour and fired home a hat-trick to knock their Championship opponents out of the competition that was former known as the Capital One Cup.
Dunn’s first arrived with the scoreline finely poised at 1-1 and it was by no means an easy finish as he took the ball first time, from behind him, and hammered it into the roof of the net.
His second forced extra time in the 90th minute when he won and converted a penalty to bring the score to 3-3.
And Dunn’s hat-trick goal proved to be the decider as he deftly beat Lewis Price in the 118th minute to ensure Morecambe a safe route to the next round.
Liverpool fans will be hoping to hear a lot more of Jack Dunn before January 2017.
