Following the hugely unpopular decision to raise ticket prices at Anfield, Liverpool’s owners appear to have scored another considerable PR own goal.
Liverpool supporters were already angered by the decision to introduce a new pricing structure for tickets, with the first £1,000 season ticket and some individual games costing £77.
Following this, according to the Daily Telegraph, a post has been discovered on the the Fenway Sports Group website boasting about “transforming fans into customers”.
BREAKING NEWS: FSG admit they have intentionally turned #LFC fans into customers on their website. pic.twitter.com/z7SqL44Rct

Unsurprisingly, Liverpool fans reacted angrily when news of the post filtered through to them.
