In years to come, July 17th will be known as ‘Joe Gomez day’.
The 18 year old defender has only played one game for Liverpool, against Brisbane Roar in pre-season friendly, but fans have already seen enough.
The consensus was unanimous, Gomez, signed earlier this month from Charlton, is the real deal.
He’s better than the other full-back Liverpool signed.

In fact, he’s the best full-back in years.

Who already looks part of the furniture.

He’s helping Liverpool fans forget what’s his name?

And Brendan Rodgers should watch his back.
Joe Gomez should manage liverpool. He's good at absolutely everything.

There’s no pressure on him.
Joe Gomez is considered as the next Rio ferdinand in England, Highly Rated. There's reason rodgers bought him in

But Lionel Messi should be worried.
I don't want to overhype him but Joe Gomez could be the greatest player in the history of the game

And Liverpool need to act fast to secure his future.

During the halftime Brendan wanted to sub out the whole starting XI but Joe Gomez defended all of them.

Not everyone thinks he’s the perfect player.
Very impressed by Joe Gomez so far. Positioning is good, composed, happy to advance forward. Very one-footed though. #LFC
