Liverpool fans absolutely love Mo Salah’s Egyptian anti-drugs advert

He can do no wrong at the moment

The Egyptian King

Mohamed Salah’s rise to stardom this season has been astronomical. His signing was greeted with quiet skepticism due to his previous failure to impress on these shores, but he has proven the doubters wrong, scoring 37 goals so far this season. He has reached cult hero status which, depending on how long he stays at Anfield, could become legend status.

His heroics are not confined to Liverpool either, he is of course a national hero in his native Egypt, where the whole country tunes in to watch him play in the Premier League. And they don’t just love him for his achievements on the pitch, he is lauded for his off-pitch philanthropy too.

The latest example of this comes in the form of an anti-drugs commercial, which depicts him going on a jog, and presents his younger self with a choice. A choice of which path to go down: drugs or sports. Opting to mix with the sporty crowd, it then portrays the happy, wholesome life one can lead as a result.

Needless to say, Liverpool fans are absolutely loving it. Their hero can do no wrong at the moment.

Clearly it’s working. Don’t do drugs, kids; Mo Salah said so.
