The Manchester United rumour mill keeps going and going.
With Louis Van Gaal almost certain to leave in the summer, speculation as has been rife about the next Old Trafford boss.
Jose Mourinho has been touted for months, but according to reports in the Daily Star Sunday, it’ll be Laurent Blanc in charge of United come next season.

While Mourinho might still be the preferred option for some United fans, Blanc certainly has the medal cabinet to take over at one of England’s biggest clubs.
A three-time Ligue Un winner with PSG and Bourdeux, and sure to add another French league title at the end of this season, the former United centre back is said to be a fine fit for those within the club’s hierarchy.
The paper claims that if Van Gaal does indeed leave at the end of this season, the PSG boss will be offered the managerial job. In an added twist, the Daily Star Sunday also reports that Van Gaal is still not certain to leave Manchester United in the summer, claiming “the Old Trafford hierarchy are continuing to back Louis van Gaal, despite another sub-standard display at Liverpool last Thursday.”
The football may not be a sparkling vintage for United at the moment, but at least the backroom business is interesting.
