Jurgen Klopp will reportedly snub interest from the Premier League

Jurgen Klopp has reportedly set his sights on succeeding Pep Guardiola as Bayern Munich manager, and wants to gauge his chances of doing so before considering another position. The former Borussia Dortmund manager has been linked with a move to England, with Liverpool considered a possible destination, since stepping down as manager of the German club last summer. Klopp further fuelled speculation a few weeks ago, saying his next job "must be somewhere in the world that is not an absolute top club, there are other good projects that are exciting who need help." However, according to reports, the 48-year-old primarily has his eye on the top job in German club football. Klopp, according to The Daily Mail, "is keen to discover where he stands in Bayern's list of potential replacements for Pep Guardiola before making a decision on his future." Guardiola's contract expires at the end of the current season, and has yet to commit to an extension. If Klopp were to take join the Bavarian giants, it would mirror the path taken by former Dortmund players Mario Goetze and Robert Lewandowski, and also help a lot of managers sleep easier at night.
